Academic Mobility for International Visitors

Student academic mobility can be carried out at UFVJM at the undergraduate and graduate levels – master's and doctoral courses.

Undergraduate students can undertake their mobility at UFVJM within the scope of bilateral cooperation agreements or specific student academic mobility programs, such as the Latin American Exchange Program (PILA).

UFVJM also welcomes international students to undertake complete undergraduate and postgraduate studies through specific programs, such as PEC and GCUB-Mob programs.

For more information, visit: Undertaking International Academic Mobility at UFVJM (incoming).

Mobility through Bilateral Agreements

Foreign students must submit their applications institutionally, through the International Relations department of the home university, by sending the following documents to International Relations Office (DRI/UFVJM):

  • Appointment letter from the home university for mobility at UFVJM;

  • Application form;

  • Academic transcript;

  • Copy of passport;

  • Health insurance with coverage for the entire mobility period (must be presented for enrollment, if the application is approved).

Additional documents may be requested, depending on the program in which the student is participating. Documentation for application for a period of study and/or research at UFVJM must be sent to the email address of the DRI: secretariadri@ufvjm.edu.br. After evaluating the documentation, DRI will issue the letter of acceptance to the student and guide him/her in relation to the other necessary procedures.
